So easy to install, peace of mind.Even my neighbours said that they feel safer( I live in a block of flats) It even has a feature if you forget to say you are away from your area, it will do that for you. I had one flaw, I have a Security Door, so screws are not an option...I had to order double sided sticky tape...Please 'Ring' think about this... You would have got a 10 out of 5 from me. Could the UK get the Chime...it only seems available in the U.S.

    Its hard to pass properties these days without seeing such a large number of this very popular brand of video doorbell. This is the wireless / rechargeable battery version and very simple to install and operate, assuming you have a wifi connection at home that will cover the area where you are fitting the device.

    You'll need to download an app to your phone or tablet and get it set up whilst charging up the device when you first get it unboxed.

    Its supplied with a very short charging cable, but you will need to have the connection end for it to go into a household power supply.

    Assuming you have those elements organised when you think about buying one of these, they are really simple to operate.

    As a refurb item, the price was great, and the basic subscription to a yearly service to access recordings that can be motion triggered whether you are in or no are only £40.00 from the manufacturer, so peace of mind comes at an affordable level and you can check in on your camera whenever you like, even talk or listen to people at the door when your not there. Great device we should have bought a long time ago.

    despite having automated payment set up with an up to date card, kept refusing payment, that's after I removed and re-added the card, message disappeared so figured it was resolved instead 2 days later account was closed and all videos removed. when I reached out to customer service who tried blaming me and the bank (who had already confirmed the sub was set up and should have gone out so ring's fault) customer service agent was useless and unable to recover videos, despite no fault on my part.

    Die Installation war unkompliziert, selbst für Menschen, die technisch nicht unbedingt versiert sind. Der Akku ist eine super Lösung, da wir keine zusätzlichen Kabel verlegen mussten. Wie lange dieser dann tatsächlich hält, lässt sich sich wohl erst später beurteilen. Das Gerät war schnell einsatzbereit, und die Verbindung mit der App verlief reibungslos.

    Die Bildqualität hat uns positiv überrascht. Sowohl bei Tageslicht als auch bei Dunkelheit ist das Video gestochen scharf, und dank des Weitwinkels haben wir einen sehr guten Überblick über unseren Eingangsbereich. Die Gegensprechfunktion ist klar und funktioniert zuverlässig – perfekt, um mit Paketboten oder Besuchern zu kommunizieren, wenn wir gerade nicht zu Hause sind.

    Besonders praktisch finden wir die Bewegungsbenachrichtigungen. Sobald jemand den Eingangsbereich betritt, erhalten wir direkt eine Nachricht aufs Handy. Das gibt uns nicht nur ein Gefühl von Sicherheit, sondern ist auch im Alltag super hilfreich, um nichts zu verpassen.

    Dass die Doorbell generalüberholt ist, merkt man überhaupt nicht – sie sieht aus und funktioniert wie neu. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier auf jeden Fall. Einziges kleines Manko: Für die Nutzung aller Funktionen, wie das Speichern der Videos, benötigt man ein Abo. Allerdings ist das kostenmäßig überschaubar und für uns völlig in Ordnung.
